"The Rules of Engagement Classroom Edition 2011... and Beyond"

Video is at 10:23 in the presentation) On March 30, 2011, the Faculty Collaborative hosted, "The Rules of Engagement Classroom Edition 2011... and Beyond", by Kenn Venit. Students today learn differently from how you did when you were in college. It takes an updated skill-set to teach as effectively as possible to succeed. Communication theory says if you fail to communicate with your students, it is your fault --not theirs! (OK, the theory has some flaws, but there are ways to improve your chances of success.) Kenn is a part-time associate professor in the Quinnipiac University School of Communications.
